LRCHS offers shadowing opportunities for students who are transitioning from middle school to high school (8th to 9th grade). Student may choose to spend the day with a current student. Potential students will attend classes and observe programs. Shadowing requests are handled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Families may download the application and submit it via email.  Shadowing dates are listed on the application. LRSD is hosting its annual “Check Us Out” tours October 2-4, 2023. Central High School will offer ongoing tours from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. each day. Tour guides will be available on the 2nd floor, just inside the main entrance. Counselors will be available on an “on-call basis” to answer questions.

LRCHS will host a recruitment open house for incoming families Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 7 p.m. Families will have an opportunity to meet teachers and staff, and get information about courses, clubs, organizations, and sports teams.

LRSD has scheduled Open Enrollment for Nov. 27 - Dec. 8, 2023. Families must contact Student Assignment to complete this process. Student Assignment is located at 501 Sherman Street.
